happy may day.

Yep, that’s right. It’s May 1st… can you believe it? April was pretty great, but I am extremely excited to be one month closer to the fun shenanigans that we have planned for the summer. I am finally starting to feel better {I’m even back to my normal 4 cups of coffee a morning- yes I do realize I have an addiction.} I am glad to have a fresh start and I feel elated just thinking about it. Unfortunately the hubby isn’t sharing my same enthusiasm, as he now has my cold. L Let’s just hope that he misses the flu bug and recovers from his sore throat soon.

We have much to look forward to this month, but April wasn’t a complete waste. ;)

--Death Cab released two songs early from Narrow Stairs {out May 13} Cath and Talking Bird… both can be heard on daytrotter.

--My friends are amazing. Sometimes it’s just the little things… friends caring for me when I’m sick; getting a card in the mail from a friend unexpectedly {thanks Katie}; or just being able to randomly stop by a friend’s house when I’m having a bad day. I am forever grateful for my amazing friends.

--New episodes {especially OTH and Grey's.}

--April’s showers. Yeah we had a lot of them, but if it brings May flowers I am all good. And I love sleeping when it's raining.

--Driving with the windows down. It makes me happier than I realize.

--8 years with my husband.

--Great movies coming to Bluray {Juno and 27 Dresses to name a few.}


--Car shopping.

And much, much more. I have a feeling that May is going to rock though.
