We finally, finally, finally gave our main floor bathroom a facelift! And boy, did it need it. Since moving into this home last May, we had been living with burnt orange walls and a really dark granite countertop. But this bathroom is so small, that it just felt like a dungeon. I am so happy with the light and airy result we accomplished in this small space.
Here's a look at the before:
Burnt. Orange.
Let's go back to what it looks like now...
So, so, so much better. We kept all of our updates pretty affordable, like keeping the existing vanity, and just painting the knobs a matte black and replacing the vanity top. We laid peel and stick tiles right over the existing tile just to freshen it up a bit. It made a world of difference! Plus we sold the old mirror, light fixture and vanity top on Facebook Marketplace to offset some of our new expenses. Score! So happy that this is done and I can walk past this room without cringing!
