Guest Room/Office Plan.

Thanks to my fellow nesties hollyluv and bryn for the inspiration- I have created my own idea board of our plans for our guest room/office. I tried to incorporate some peices that we already have and also want to make sure mostly neutral colors are used since it's (hopefully) very possible that his room could eventually be our nursery. Here's what I came up with....

Let me try to explain....
I am in love with that chandelier! It's from nestie hollyluv's dining room and it is fabulous. And how cute would that look in the future nursery? :) Next is the desk that I adore with the hutch! However- since it's an antique white I know I could never match the color to a chair- but I'm loving the way it looks with this black chair, and then I will either throw the light blue throw over it or find/make a lt. blue chair cushion. Fab! The peice of furniture next to the desk is a black stand with wicker drawers that we already have so I wanted to incorporate that. As well as the Guinness poster- I'm sure you can all guess the significance of that- but I want to try to mat & frame it and see if it could work in this room. Prints however that will no-matter-what work in this room are the gorgeous Alicia Bock ones shown above. And yep- you guessed it, these would also be able to stay in the nursery. :) As well as the vintage mirror hung by a ribbon. I could possibly make this myself. The picture to the left in the middle is the wall color that I want- a lt. brownish grey that I love.. with accents of the sample of RH's Silver Sage as shown. The bedding is from West Elm and I cannot wait to see it in person! We have a twin bed in this room now, which I'm hoping would be able to stay in a nursery as well. And this bedding is just too perfect. The nightstand shown is similar to this one from Ikea that we would paint black. We already have the black ladder shelf which would look great with white & blue accents and picture frames. Both the lamp and lt. blue rug are from Target. And I forgot to mention the gorgeous Victoria Hagan lt. blue bowl... I want to fill this with white tapered candles... see hollyluv's to-die-for example below!

Surprisingly enough, most of the items are very affordable! I'm estatic that this plan might actually be feasible for us in the near future!
