Go FOR it!

I had lots of much-needed time over the weekend with my favorite girls. (Lindsay we missed you dearly.) Somehow things always manage to get completely crazy when we are together. No matter where we are or what we are doing ::shotgunning beers : lounging in a hot tub for 7 hours : bar hopping : dancing : jumping on hotel beds : drinking the blood of Christ : playing Catchphrase : determining lesbian shoes : playing beer pong : shopping : road tripping : studying : watching The Bachelor or Real World : straightening hair : reminising about old times : talking about marriage, children & careers : yelling at each other about boyfriends : deer watching out dorm room windows- and no one believes you : chasing each other with a dildo : eating pretzel dip :: just having fun and celebrating our lives together-- we relate to each other and love each other in a way that most people I don't think understand. We have been through a lot together over the years and are now realizing just how "grown up" we are. This weekend wasn't about grown-ups however, even though a innocent pool-goer did remind us of this. This weekend was about us being together as college roomies and best buds. We actually feel so strongly of our bond together and how much we have grown up - together and apart - that we think a novel about us would actually appeal to other people and sell. So very 'Sex and the City' of us- right Bri?!

I honestly will try to write down some of our memories and experiences together, but somehow it seems (as Katie explained to me this weekend) that the best conversations in life are the ones that you can't remember later. ;)

I know that most of you won't understand this post... unless you are one of my aforementioned favs, but that doesn't matter. I hope that everyone gets to experience true friends as I have at some point in their lives. And just how neat it is to grow into a better and wiser person with those friends and getting to share your lives with them.

Currently listening to :: The Way I Am by Ingrid Michaelson.
Hmmm... I wonder why?! =)
