Getting it out of my system....

Payments are starting to catch up with us... between both of our student loans, car payments, mortgage, etc. our payments are starting to catch up with us. Because of this, I am really going to have to start abiding by our budget and shopping much, much, much less. Actually pretty nonexistent, at least for the next few months. So, over the weekend we went out of town shopping with family and I did made some nice purchases to tide me over. =)

I had a gift card from Christmas to American Eagle and was able to score these two peices there...

This one I got in a gorgeous navy blue, it is not on their site however...

I also snagged up some socks and undies that were on clearance. I am however, still longing after these two peices..... (ahhh... someday.)

A quick stop at Barnes & Noble also led to a couple purchases. I LOVE the band 'The National' and have every one of their CDs except one. I have no idea why I never got this album, but was ecstatic to find it there and snagged it as well. If you have not heard them I HIGHLY recommend that you check them out...

I also picked up a book when I was there that I was very excited to find. In high school I had read the book "The Perks of being a Wallflower" by Stephen Chbosky at least 10 times. I loved it. Chbosky however had never released any other novels in the states. I was compeltely shocked when I stumbled accross a new collection put together entitled 'Pieces' a collection of short stories by Chbosky. Hopefully it will live up to my expectations.. I will keep you posted.

Here is 'The Perks of being a Wallflower'

And 'Pieces'....

I also snatched up a pair of aviators at Charlotte Russe that are to die for.. and I got them for $5. Can't beat that. Their site didn't have pics though and my camera is dead.. for another day. I'm very happy with my purchases and they will hopefully tide me over for quite a while. Why do I have to love shopping so much?!?!

Currently listening to:: Mr. November by The National.
