Without further ado, here are the photos that I promised from visiting the park over the weekend. This park was flooded in the 1800s and was never fully restored, despite several attempts. We had a book with us that showed the spots we were standing in years ago when they were functioning. It was an incredible feeling... This park once held an outdoor ampitheater, greenhouses, hiking trails, a creek, and so much more. We litterally had to park on the side of the highway, and truck through the woods for about 20 minutes to get there. But it was worth it; what beautiful grounds...
