Last night I went to dinner with my dad and my sisters, Hollie & Kirby. My mom was out of town going through my grandma's house with her siblings and Brian was at work. So after dinner we decided to head over to Best Buy for a bit because my dad has a gift card to use. Hollie, Kirby and I all start playing Rock Band in the store- my dad thought it was funny enough to take a picture of us. I will have to get that from him. :)

But now to the real story... Hollie and I have been talking about getting tickets to see Death Cab when they come to Milwuakee in December, but I was telling her that Brian and I have decided it's probably not the smartest thing for us right now. We all just saw them in June and we need to be practical with our money right now.... as you probably remember Hollie went through some hard times earlier this year and she is still paying the consequences. She basically has no life outside of school. No cell phone, no drivers liscense, no going out anywhere- nothing. {And I have to say that she is doing very well. I honestly think that is back to her old self and nothing makes me happier than that.} Obviously the one exception to her boring life is when she comes over to our house. :) So has been taking up every spare second I have, haha. So last night at Best Buy when I told her that Brian and I are thinking of not going to the concert... she says "Oh come on!! My life is like Seth Cohen, PRE-Ryan Atwood!"

If there was ever any doubt that we were sisters... that should elimate it for life! Hahaha. I honestly couldn't catch my breath I was laughing so hard.

In summary- I am SO grateful for my sisters. Even though I am the oldest, I would never be who I am today without them.

I love me some bonding over the OC (when it was still good!)! I'm so glad you can say this so soon after such a rough time. That's so fantastic Chels.

I couldn't agree more. I'm the oldest of 4 sisters and credit them with everything I am today.
