poor baby.

I think I've mentioned before that Guinness has been struggling with allergies since Spring. His face flares up and he itches on his paws and his face. After several trips to the vet and steroids and other meds, he finally cleared up. The vet wanted to put him on another prescription that he would have to stay on for the rest of his life, but I was hopeful that it was just a change in seasons and he wouldn't need to. So far, all has been going well. We try to make sure that he doesn't rub his face in the grass, which is where we believe the problem is rooting from?, and his face has been clear and itch-free for the past few weeks.

So this morning, I dropped him off at my sister's house because they wanted to play with him today. She calls almost immediately after I dropped him and says that he threw up. He is not a big puker, so I knew that something was wrong- but at that point it could have been a slew of things-- ate too fast, got into something, or just an upset tummy. I didn't worry too much and told her to call me if he threw up again or was acting weird. A few hours later she called again that he had thrown up again and was now dry-heaving. She also noticed that he has 7 or 8 bumps on his body! This freaked me out. Immediately I called the vet and he has an appointment for 8am tomorrow. I then did a quick search online and to my dismay, allergies are the most common cause for bumps on the body and puking like this. Great. I am really bumming because I would really hate for him to be on meds the rest of his life, but I guess if that is what is necessary to keep him healthy, we will have to. Anyway, here I sit- a worried momma and dreading tomorrow's vet bill. Ugh.

Awww, poor little guy. I hate big vet bills but I hate having a sick baby, too. Hang in there!

P.S. I can't believe you had a horn, too! :)
