Most of you already know that Death Cab For Cutie is my favorite band of all time. Sometimes though I feel like when I say that I sound like a high school teeny-booper talking about The Backstreet Boys. But what I am trying to get accross is that Death Cab is not just a band to me. Their songs and lyrics move me and mean more to me than I could ever explain. I have all of their albums and tend to listen to them on repeat... they all correlate to my life in one way or another. And I often find that when something major in my life happens... like our trip to Florida when Brian proposed, or my college graduation party-- there is a certain Death Cab song that when I hear it, it immediately takes me back to that moment. Whether the song was playing in the background or played during the party... it is such a strong and powerful emotion that takes over me when this happens. Has this ever happened to you? A lot of times a certain scent will do this to, but it always happens to me with their songs.

Anyway, you can imagine my excitment when I found out that their new album Narrow Stairs is releasing this May! I was thrilled!! But to make things even better for me, they released their first single I Will Possess Your Heart in March. Needless to say, I have been listening to it ever since. You can hear it here. I really hope that you can appreciate it as much as I do.
