January?

Holy cow! Where did the time go?? I can't believe Christmas is over. I can't believe New Year's is over. I can't believe it's 2009! Today is my first day back to work since December 23rd- I knew it wasn't going to be easy. At least it's a Friday. I am actually just about to walk out the door to head back to work- I'm home for lunch at the moment- but I wanted to quick update you with some of the goodies that I brought home this Christmas... I must have been good this year! Not that I want to brag or anything{!} but I got some amazing stuff....

Lots of clothes. Some shoes. TONS of books. Some movies. A little jewelery. Wii Fit! A coat. Also got some gift cards- Borders & iTunes. Just tons of stuff- way more than I could even possibly share everything here, but I guess these are some of my favorite peices. And of course our amazing camera that Brian and I bought together too. Books were the main thing on my list and after using my gift card I was able to get every, single one that I wanted this year.

{In case you are interested... 2666 by Roberto Bolano; The Perks of Being A Wallflower by Stephen Chbosky; On The Road by Jack Kerouac; the complete collection of Jane Austen; Doomed Love by Virgil; Ticket To Ride by Dennis Potter; Money by Martin Amis; And the Hippos Were Boiled in Their Tanks by Jack Kerouac & William Burroughs; Merchant of Venice by Shakespeare; Wuthering Heights by Emily Bronte.} I have lots of reading to do! I have already read three of them. :)
