Don't people just amaze you? I swear, I truly think that I could live to be 100 and people would still continue to stun me. I don't understand how some people can honestly act the way that they do? How did they get that way?? Didn't their parents tell them that if they don't have something nice to say, don't say anything at all! Don't they understand how rude it is to force yourself into situations that you don't belong. Now I completely understand that there are certain times and circumstances that challenge this- not everyone can act this way all of the time {I'm not saying that I do either.} But I mean- some people act the complete opposite of that all the time. What gives?? I am so sick of people being rude. I am sick of people butting into my business. I am sick of people that think it's okay to act like this.

Okay..... rant over. This just forces me to realize that I am SO glad that I am not going through my life living like this. I can lay down at the end of the day and be happy with who I am and how I act toward others. If I think that these people irritate me, I can't even imagine what it is like to be them. And I truly hope that someday, people will realize how immature and selfish their actions are and learn to correct them, not just for everyone else, but for themselves.

Huge thanks to the lovely Leah for her post this morning. It sums it up quite perfectly....

Let no corrupt word proceed out of your mouth, but what is good for necessary edification, that it may impart grace to the hearers.
Ephesians 4:29

Leah summed it up quite well too. "Watch the way you talk. Let nothing foul or dirty come out of your mouth. Say only what helps, each word a gift."

If only everyone could realize this.... I will for sure try my hardest to abide by this rule of thumb in my life. Because I wouldn't ever want someone feeling how I feel right now because of something I had said.
