Going back now, way back to last weekend, the amazing Twilight weekend. I am grateful that my bad news didn't interfere with this, because that would have really made me upset. We kicked off Friday night with a Twilight get-together of our own... Hollie, Stacey + Caitlin came over to hang out until midnight- when we would venture to Wal-Mart to get our copies. So in the meantime, we drank wine, played the Twilight board game, and chit chatted.....
We headed to Wal-Mart at 11 and joined the swarms of other people to wait for that beloved pallet filled with dvds. We managed to escape with our copies unscathed and headed to home to {duh} watch Twilight! First we watched all the special features, and then the actual movie, and by the time all that was over it was 4 am. We all passed about right then, but Stacey & I had plans to wake up at 6 {yes after 2 hours of sleep} and head to Target to pick up our bluray versions. And up we got, it was easy knowing the satisfaction that would come from seeing Edward's face in full on HD, and 50 inches wide. And oh boy was it.
My plan was to go back to bed after returning home from Target, but I wanted to see the additional special features that were on the bluray, so I popped it in and woke up Caitlin & Hollie, and we watched it all again- and this time we watched the movie with the commentary {hilarious}. So now's it's almost noon and I still hadn't gone back to sleep, but actually wasn't all that tired. It was a GORGEOUS day outside, and our house was filled with people that were popping in {including Brian's brother CJ and Hollie's boyfriend Danny} so I put the boys to good use and they got all of our patio furniture out from the garage and set up outside. Lovely! We then sat outside all afternoon enjoying the miraculous weather, and made plans for a barbeque later that night, including homemade margaritas!
Another late night, but it was so worth it. But by Sunday, I was tired. Did I mention tired? I was so tired. G got acquainted with Mr. Owl {the adorable pillow that I snagged at Wal-Mart Friday night} and we napped the rest of the day.
The end.
