#1. I have never had a dog, or even a pet, my entire life- until Brian and I brought home our English Bulldog, Guinness. I used to get so mad at my parents for not letting us have pets, but now I am beginning to understand why. I am so damn attached to this dog- it can't be healthy. Seriously- as much as I love my family and my friends- it is just different with Guinness. His love for me is so unconditional and he just always so genuinely happy to be with me. He lights up my days and I can't wait to go home to him at night. =) I just can't even think about what my life would be like without him and it scares me because I know he won't be around forever.... {SAD}

#2. I want to get a tattoo. I have told some of my friends and my parents-- no one believes me! If you know me well, you know that this is pretty uncharacteristic of me, and I think that is making me want one even more! I want to get it on my foot- so it's not very noticeable and I can cover it up when I want to. But I have always wanted one and could never think of anything I wanted badly enough.. I think I finally feel comfortable enough with my decision to get one... {time will tell.}

#3. I feel like my life is so hectic right now. Working full-time; keeping the house clean and put together; lately we have been working around the house too- painting, cleaning organizing, etc.; taking care of Guinness; and of course our social obligations. I just realized the other day that seriously-- this is not that busy. Last year at this time I was a full-time college senior, working full-time, editor of the college newspaper, editor of the college magazine, interviewing for jobs, planning a wedding, and buying a house!!!! When I think about how I survived that year today, I honestly don't know. So I'm just reminded myself how my life is at such a great place right now and it makes me feel so good. =)

#4. I am so, over-the-moon, completely, ridiculously in love with my husband. April will mark 8 years that we have been together and 7 months that we have been married. It still amazes me how I can be so in love and understood by one person. He just gets me and he makes me feel so good all the time. I honestly believe that relationships should bring out the best in each other- and I know he does this for me- 100 percent. Sorry if this post is completely mushy- but hey, you asked for random. I just can't imagine my life without Brian and I am glad that I don't have to. I hope that everyone gets to experience a love as true as this one sometime in their lives.

#5. I am a shopaholic. I could shop every day for the rest of my life if I could. Doesn't matter what for, but my specialty is shoes, bags and clothes. I am starting to really get into house furnishings as well. My checking account pretty much can't keep up and my husband is really good at cramping my style. HaHa. For this reason- eBay is one of my favorite sites of all time- I get tons of stuff from there because you can get pretty much anything your heart desires for a fraction of the cost. ;)

#6. Yesterday I slipped on ice outside of our house {after pushing Brian's car out of a snow-filled ditch, mind you.} and scrapped my knee up to all hell! It hurts so bad. I have a very low tolerance for pain anyway, but this thing is really a bitch. I can barely shower or bend my leg straight without crying! I HATE winter!!!

#7. I think we are going roller skating this weekend-- kick ass!

I never had a dog growing up either, and now I'm hooked:)
I've been feeling very overwhelmed by my busy life, too. I can't imagine a day when I'm a mom on top of all this crap!

And I've already done the 7 things post. Check out mine from a week ago titled "I've been had." Sorry!! :)
