The new One Tree Hill this week was so good. They took a very fun approach to the issue of bullying and it was like a breath of fresh air. It reminded me why this has been my favorite show for eight years.

The temperatures are suppose to reach the 30s this weekend... hello, heat wave!

Currently addicted to Jana Kramer's new single, black cherry kool-aid, and my down comforter.

I had a bit of a scare at work yesterday. In the middle of a meeting, I had sudden sharp, stabbing pains in my head, followed by body tingling/numbness and a heavy feeling in my whole body. I was very shaken up and just kind of completely zoned out. I went to the clinic where they tested me for signs of a stroke (all good there), but I have to go back next week for a cat scan. Hopefully everything will come back normal, but in the mean time I am stressing myself out worrying that it is going to happen again... kind of walking around on egg shells. Not fun.

I really need some techniques on handling my stress better. I'm not sure if it is related to what happened or not, but even now, my worrying about this so much. I wish that I just could only worry about the things that I could control. It is just never that easy. (Thank you all my twitter friends for your thoughts & prayers... it means a lot!)

My job has been going really well. I have a big day tomorrow; my first conference call with an author. I am a little stressed/nervous about it (hello Chelsea, read your previous ramble!!). Hoping that everything goes smoothly and I'm basically just ready for it to be over with and be Friday already.

With the help of Stacey, I have finally started a book club... been on my list for years. First up we are reading Never Let Me Go by Kazuo Ishiguro. I can't wait.

I plan on doing nothing but relaxing this weekend.

I want to cut my hair.
