Well, February decided to welcome us with a full blown B L I Z Z A R D. I'm not joking when I say that we are literally snowed right now. And it is NOT as glamorous as the photo above. Here's a better idea of the real thing from my local news. We got somewhere from 10-16 inches of snow... we can't even tell for sure because of the snow drifts. 50 mph winds plus that much snow equals BLIZZARD. The snow is as high as the windows all around our house. So, here we are. My office has closed for the day so no work for me, (YAY!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!). Oh the joys of a snow day came rushing right back to me. Husband thankfully worked most of his shift for today, yesterday, so thankfully we are both at home. He, however, is sick as a dog. So, thank you mother nature, for graciously granting me this amazing, amazing day at home, smack dab in the middle of the week. I am spending it...

+ drinking hot cocoa all day.
+ shoveling (bleh).
+ folding laundry.
+ getting tax papers organized.
+ catching up on my dvr (Southland, Greek, Parenthood).
+ possibly watching OTH again.
+ cleaning.
+ reading.
+ did I mention napping?
Oh, joy.
+ I feel like the only person on the planet who is still not sick of winter. I have no idea why... and even after shoveling for 3 hours today (!!!!!) (did I mention how much it sucks that husband is sick today?) I'm still not sick of it. It's exciting and pretty and results in Wednesday's at home snowed in.
