I can't remember the last time I saw a movie as heartwarming as The King's Speech. It is honestly a masterpiece. Brilliant performances, sad, quirky, and just about everything in between. It will warm your heart. Some other things that made my weekend perfect...
Going to bed at 9 pm on a Friday night; reading Never Let Me Go; finally purchasing Essie's ballet slippers; an all girls day including going to the movies and shopping for new bras; watching the snow melt; buying my new 'I <3 jake ryan' tshirt; and wearing it the entire weekend; cleaning out our file drawer (such a great feeling, especially for a dork like me); watching Because I Said So and PS I Love You in the same day; making pasta and drinking vodka with stacey; love notes from my husband on our chalkboard; mailing valentines; and the amazing, gave-me-goosebumps-for-twenty-mintues-straight performance by Mumford & Sons, The Avett Brothers and Bob Dylan at the Grammy's tonight (I found several videos, but they were all removed within mintues; hopefully soon it will be available though.... INCREDIBLE.) Life was made tonight with that performance. Oh yea... and then Arcade Fire WON ALBUM OF THE YEAR!!!!!!!!!! And just like that all of my faith in America was restored... too soon? Time will tell.

Trying to somehow curb my excitement and go to sleep. Not going to happen. I don't want this weekend to end. Off I go to listen to some Mumford & Sons and try to fall asleep before After The Storm. And go.

We were in bed in the 9 o' clock hour as well on Friday! The work week exhausts us and we don't even have kids. Who knows what we'll do when that day comes!
