today is rad.

...for many reasons.  including but not limited to the missoni launch for target.  i very happily scored two pairs of shoes, two coffee mugs and some really kick ass bobby pins.

macaroni & cheese for dinner. the season premiere of parenthood. getting my haircut tomorrow. and finding vanilla chai creamer at the grocery store.  this all makes me very, very happy.

i am however feeling very heartsick, for reasons that i can not control.  i am very grateful for all of these amazing things in my life, no matter how small.  because no matter how small, they distract from the bigger things.  from the harder things.  from the things that hurt.

and i'll take that.
