I realize that we are an entire decade late, but husband and I have just started to read the first Harry Potter book at the same time. I have seen all of the movies and had never really felt a desire to read the books until I saw the final Harry Potter movie... once I understood the story full circle, I had a sudden desire to read the story. Brian has recently discovered audio books and since his job requires a lot of driving time, he too started the Harry Potter series.
I am merely a few chapters in and Brian is plowing right along, but I'm hoping to catch up soon. Most nights you can find us lying in bed happily "reading" the same story to ourselves. It's quite sweet actually. I think we may need to start reading the same stories at the same time more often.
