Two Thousand Eighteen

Sunday, December 31, 2017

Well, here we are. Christmas has come and gone and a new year is upon us. It doesn't seem possible how fast time moves these days. Today we took down all of our Christmas decor and while everything feels clean and fresh and new, it's a bit sad too, so I'm grateful to have captured so many moments from this season.

Christmas Day 2017

It was a white Christmas!

I'm not sure who adores his Christmas jammies more..

New Christmas books by the "fire"

Enjoying a cup of Creme Brûlée Latte and watching Brian shovel

I was especially sad to finish my last bag of Cameron Coffee's Creme Brûlée Latte blend, so I figured what the heck and bought some more. I might not be able to leave behind this bit of Christmas for some time yet.

Words of wisdom sticking with me as we enter into this new year...

"And above all, watch with glittering eyes the whole world around you because the greatest secrets are always hidden in the most unlikely places. Those who don't believe in magic will never find it." -- Roald Dahl

Happy New Year!
