02. We're planning a family vacation for later this year and right now the lead destination contender is the Carolinas. Do you know what this means??

03. 1+2= Me. In Wilmington. While OTH is filming their final season. Words can't describe what this means really.

04. I'm currently in the car, on the highway, driving home from the most amazing whirlwind weekend in Minneapolis.

05. We saw Death Cab for Cutie, live last night. At this awesome venue. With this awesome opening band. It was utterly brilliant. (thanks for the wonderful date, honey).

I forgot my camera (face>palm) but have loads of good photos/vids from my phone... to share soon.

06. I've decided to start seeing a therapist to deal with my anxiety and stress issues.

07. And I'm not ashamed of that.

08. I'm still sorting out $1000+ worth of medical bills from said stress-related health issues.

09. I love this song so much. We've been singing it all weekend long.

10. This is my new phone cover that I love so much I would marry it.

11. I'm starting yoga.

12. I feel like I can do anything when I wear my origami crane necklace.

13. We took Mr. to his favorite lake.

A lot of countryside and thinking this weekend......   looking forward to what will come of it.

And now here I am. The dreaded sunday night. Prison Break and ice cream will make it better. And my bed.

there's a plan to make all of this right...

since starting prison break I have become mildly obsessed with origami cranes. it's funny, i have always loved origami. always wished i had the patience to practice the art. maybe i should revisit it. but lately, i've been tracking down loads of lovely cranes. starting with, of course, prison break....

it's significance in the show is unmistakable, and profound. and it's beauty and meaning for everyone, is breathtaking.

hmmm... possible next tattoo?

well of course, where do most of my obsessions lead me??  yes, of course... etsy. pages and pages of glorious folded birds filled my screen, but my heart settled on this beauty:

oh, hello blog.  are you still here?

i'm still here too.  just a more frazzled, fragmented version of myself. i'm feeling much better since my last post, just busy and still a little unhappy in general. but we've been talking lately about making some major changes in our lives and it's scary. scary, yet gratifying. i'm beginning to realize that nothing is going to change if we don't initiate that change. so we are, at least, to that point. we're talking about things and researching some possible new things for us. just for us. it feels good.

besides work, i've been trying to spend as much of my free time with me. really just doing things that i want to do. i know life doesn't always work this way, but making the extra effort has helped a lot. this has involved a lot of prison break, relaxing strolls around the neighborhood with my boys, going to really good chick flicks with stace, perusing around town with family all day, reading good stories, waking up early for the farmer's market, going to really good daytrotter concerts in barns, discovering the monte christo sandwich, cutting tulips from our backyard to fill the house, and listening to this brilliant song on repeat...

it may or may not be from prison break.  but seriously, it's my new favorite song. i'm off to enjoy the rest of my saturday.  i promise to come back to you soon.
