Whoa! I can't believe it's Tuesday. I can't believe how busy our weekend was. I can't believe that it's over already! I can barely even find time to write this post. Things have just been crazy. Here's a peak into our amazingly-fantastical-love-crammed weekend::

::visits from baby Landon:

::Friday night we had a Christmas party for Brian's work. A good time was had by all-- good food. good beers. average dancing {sorry honey}. It was snowing when we headed home {UGH} but we woke up to a beautiful white-covered world::

::Hung out with G for a bit, then headed out on our family adventure to Madtown for the day...

With the help of LUCILLE we managed to cram in quite a few stops into our day {I will try to explain the day with as much detail as possible, however it must be said that a day in the car with our family + one boyfriend cannot be easily described! We are kind of crazy like that.}

::had lots of fun in the car {surprise, surprise}:

::browsed three different used record stores {where I scored some major loot}:

::they acted all cute:

::had an amazing lunch {with a lovely + heart-felt surprise from dad for all of us}:

{filled with candy, shopping money, and tickets to this! CAN. NOT. WAIT.} What an amazing dad!!!

::we stocked up at trader joes {16 of the 'ol CS bottles to be exact}.

::waltzed up + down state street {my favorite place to be} scoring lots of goodies.

::where we inevitably hit up Urban Outfitters and finally purchased our baby {we even got it on sale!}:

::we headed to the mall + Best Buy for a bit too {I got two new records to add to the mix}.
::then we did some furniture shopping for mom & dad's living room {where my mom picked out this fabulous rug that I want to steal}:

::then we got some much-needed ice cream and headed home {listening to the Pretenders the whole way... with a little MJ thrown in there too!} :)

A very sucessful trip to Madison with the family + perhaps my best Valentine's Day ever. Besides scoring the amazing record player + plethora of records, the husband {best one in the world by the way} also got me this dvd {my all-time favorite that just released on dvd!} + this book + a bag of 100 Grands. What a man he is!

On Sunday we slept in {finally} and enjoyed the record player for most of the morning. Let me tell you, dancing in your living room with your husband is all the more romantic with a little crackle + pop from a record. {{sigh}}. But then we got our butts in gear + finally got our upstairs {man/party room} all cleaned out + ready to, well party in!

The rest of our Sunday was spent cleaning the house, listening to more records, lounging on the couch with G, watching this really good movie with this really cute boy, + snapping some shots around the house::
